Our Church - St Mary's

St Mary’s church is central to life in Olveston. The school works closely with the church, the vicar and Diocese.

St Mary’s is an old and beautiful church, much used and valued by the whole community.  With over thirty people in the choir, it has a strong musical tradition. A number of groups meet in people’s homes.

With over 160 on the electoral roll, they consider themselves a fairly lively and diverse lot, active in all sorts of ways, and served by a strong ministry team, both clergy and lay.  They have redeveloped the facilities, but it’s actually the people that matter, and the way that they worship God together.
