Green Tree Award
Olveston School is committed to fostering a strong connection with the outdoor environment, offering engaging outdoor play spaces for children in Key Stage 1 and providing an excellent Forest School provision. These efforts have helped the school achieve the Green Tree Schools – Gold Award from the Woodland Trust, recognising our dedication to environmental education and sustainability. The school has completed various activities and challenges In order to achieve the Gold Award. This ranges from tree dressing to planting hundreds of saplings within the school grounds.
We are really proud of our Gold award as to achieve this we were able to celebrate what we already do. For the rest of this year we will be working towards the Platinum Award!
