Year 6 - Building our own Prefabs ‘10
We worked on these as part of our ‘Decades’ topic, developing both Science and DT skills. The children had to devise investigations to test the strength of and how waterproof different materials are; they then used this knowledge to design their prefabs. During the making process, they adapted their plans and, once made, evaluated their creations.
