Harry K. Has written a wonderful piece on his Year 6 Decades Day...
“First we had to choose who we were going to dress up as and I chose Michael Jackson. The next day we would dress up and go to school. On the way to school I saw some trendy costumes. Ben with his Rubik Cube and Tom as Hendrix! Then I came to school and Holly was a mad punk, Rich was Indiana Jones.
First we had to do all the boring stuff like Literacy with Mrs Vizard. Then we went into assembly and guess who’s day it was? Year 3 Medieval Day with the knights, but luckily we could fit on the end of the benches. We had to show everyone our costumes. Then we went out to break and I played with the Beatles, Matt, John and Zack. Then we had playtime, then we went to the ICT Suite and played on Pac Man and Invaders.
Then we came in and did some Maths. It was my favourite—co-ordinates. Then we had lunch and I had sandwiches.
Then we came in and had our feast that was yum because someone had bought in Angel Delight. Then Rebecca bought in this beautiful truffle. We went outside to take some pictures and then it was home time.”
