Year 3 - Medieval Day ‘10 (Gallery 3)
These photos were taken on Thursday 11th February 2010.
“On Thursday, the last day of term, the class and I dressed up in medieval clothes. I was a jester. The first activity was jousting. We had a hockey stick as a lance.
In our next activity we made beautiful prizes. Next we played medieval games like chess. Last but not least was the medieval feast. We had lots of different drinks, apples, on-ions, blackberries and lots of different food like chicken, ham,, cheese, bread, butter. I was a jester so I did a trick and it made everyone laugh.”

“On Thursday 11th February Year 3 had their medieval day. I dressed up as a peasant and Miss Plews was dressed as a princess. It was a good costume. At the start of the day we said what we were wearing. After that we went to the hall to go jousting.
Jousting is what knights did to keep fit. They use big lances to knock the opponent off their horse. I played in the castle with Henry. It was fun. Next we had a medieval feast. It was yummy.”
