Year 5
Mr Bonney’s Class - Year 5 - Key Stage 2
Viewpoints Art Project.

We took a piece of paper and cut out the middle to create a window.
We then put the paper onto a part of the picture we were going to copy and drew the area within the window.

Christmas Cards.

In Year 5 we made some Christmas Cards.  We wrote a verse from our favourite Christmas carol, then drew a picture on top of the writing with blue and white colouring pencils. Mr. Bonney showed us all how to do this.
There was a choice of picture we could do.  We could choose from a tree with no leaves, a star or one of our own designs.
They all turned out really well and we really enjoyed doing it.

The second workshop was street dancing: the street dancing was more my thing because the dance I do is more like this one.  At the end of the street dance we showed the parents our dance, and we got a round of applause.
I made some friends but the main one was Hayleigh, because I was very nervous and she said, ‘Do you want to sit with me?’  St Peter School was nice but I would prefer Olveston!”
Dance Workshop, held on Tues 12th Feb.
Report by Jessica.

“I Left Olveston at 1.00pm to take my trip to St Peters Primary school, to learn some different dance moves (street dancing and Indian). This was a workshop for four children from each of the local primary schools.

The first workshop was Indian: you didn’t need your legs as much as your arms and your head, I looked around me and I saw every one who sat down trying the dance move as well e.g. Miss Bertham.
