“On Tuesday 6th October, I and Year 3 went to Bristol Zoo. First we got our water-proofs on, then we got on the coach at 9.30am. When we set off everybody was screaming and shouting.”

“When we got off the coach we had a quick glance at the flamingos – some were fishing. Secondly, we saw the butterfly forest…one landed on my head! I had a shock and nearly screamed.”
“When we saw the flamingos -  and this is a fact – we saw flamingos eat fish to make their feathers pink. Then we saw Prairie Dogs digging, one was very fat! Mrs Collins said Prairie Dogs are from America only. We had a snack. Next we met the pygmy hippo. ‘Wow’ was he big! She had a baby yesterday, the sign said that it was born on the 6th.”
Mrs Collins said she had never seen a baby hippopotamus before. Jessica never saw one before either. After that we saw the Armadillo – it hid in the shell and rolled down the hill.

Last thing we went to the workshop and saw the snake called Maisie. Next we saw the pet rat and the cockroaches. Last but not least the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach.
So that was the end of the trip. Bye.

Thanks Miss Plews.
