Move Over X-Factor...!
We had lots of fun recording tracks for our CD, ‘Olveston Primary School, United in Song.’ on Wednesday 28th November 2007. You will find some samples below. If you would like to purchase a full copy, please contact the school. All profits will towards books for our library.
The 21 track CD features songs from both the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Nativity plays. There were also guest appearances from Olveston School Choir and Year 5 who fondly sang the special song, ‘You had a dream’ that was written by Mr Bonney and Year 5 for Mr Wike’s Memorial Service.

The recording took all morning and the children really did have to be very quiet at the start and end of each song.
The teachers were so impressed by every child’s enthusiasm and commitment to make a wonderful CD. The children have also put their singing skills into action as part of our Nativity performances, both in school and in church.
