Effective Lifelong Learning Inventory... or put simply - ELLI!
Mrs Morris is teaching the children in Reception and Key Stage One some vital learning skills using a story about animals. The ‘ELLI’ learning skills were developed at Bristol University and have proven to raise standards in other schools. Ofsted have recognised Henleaze Infant School’s use of the programme as outstanding on their web site.

We have had the story, and we are now focusing on a different animal and learning skill each week in our Key Stage 1 assemblies. There is also a display in Rebecca’s corner in the KS1 building.
